2024.02.13 [Screw Rescue Report] Motorcycle Front Fork Bolt

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Mizuho-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, in the Chubu region of Japan.


★ Issue Description:

"The two hexagon socket screws at the bottom of the motorcycle (BMWR80) front fork were stripped. Despite using chemicals from another company for removing screws, we couldn't loosen them. The screws have low-profile heads, making it easy to strip due to the shallow insertion of the wrench. Unsure of how to proceed, the customer sought advice and assistance."


★ Work Log:

Based on the damaged screws photos, a prototype of the Neji-Mogura (So called the Socket Screw Extracrtor) was sent to the customer.

After attempting a trick of Neji-Mogura by themsleves...
