2024.02.06 [Screw Rescue Report] Harley-Davidson Front Fork

This is a Screw Rescue Report from a customer in Minami-Oya, Machida City, Tokyo.


★Issue Description:

"I accidentally stripped the downtube mount screw deep inside the front fork of my Harley-Davidson FXWG. I was struggling to figure out how to remove this hex socket screw and seeking advice. The front fork is currently removed. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated."


★Work Log:

After assessing the damage in the photos of the stripped screw, we sent a prototype Neji-Mogra (So called Socket Screw Extractor)Go-Through Screwdriver, GT Drive (DZ-70), Extension Bit Holder(DR-22), and a wrench (13mm) to assist. The customer tried on their own...
